Acrylic Braid is used for the cut edge of a scalloped or contured valance. Sunbrella Braid #6118 is manufactured using four ends of Sunbrella yarn in one strand, making the braid exceptionally strong and durable. Due to Sunbrellas 100% solution dyed acrylic, this braid has excellent color retention and resist fraying at the edges due to wind and other elements. We use Sunbrella acrylic braid exclusivley on all of our edge bound applications.
